This place had wonderful homemade meals..reminded me of my family's meals. Even their dessert the coconut pie was wonderful just how my grandma made it. I grew up here, but moved away to college. Here I am again and the food tastes exactly the same as it did 30 years ago!

The food was alright, but nothing over the top spectacular. I had the daily special which was a stuffed pepper, mashed potatoes and corn. There was not a lot of tomato sauce for the pepper and potatoes and the corn was tasteless. The waitress did not come to check on us at all, which meant no refill on coffee or soda. My husband asked for a refill when the waitress asked if we were ready for our check. She did not ask if we wanted dessert. The portions are very nice and the prices are pretty fair, but customer service was very nonexistent. I'll pass on this restaurant next trip...sorry.

This is the type of food your mother fixes. This is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. A lot of the time you will see the owner in there... that says a lot. Their sirloin tips are better than a $50 kris’s Steak. Their salad is fresh. The place is almost always full... not many small restaurants can say that nowadays. Very relaxed atmosphere. The waitresses and everyone is very polite, not in a fake way. Very good group of people. You get a lot of good... if not some of the best food anywhere , for a cheap price. You can tell the owner spends s lot of time running it. It doesn’t get better than this. I would say this is a work of art.. the way the owner has the whole place operating. The waitresses flocked to our table when we sat down. If one would have forgot something 2 others were there for backup! Birds of a feather flock together. The type of people working there and the type of people going there makes it a very comfortable atmosphere. It’s a nice place !

Great Food, Friendly people, nice atmosphere
reasonable priced. We both got a meatloaf dinner. Veg, coleslaw, potato and gravy. Portions where generous. Meal was hot and delicious.
