Meagher's Irish Pub

Irish pub in the middle of nowhere so i was hesitant especially being from where I'm from. But this place was excellent! Just had the Irish Stew and was very impressed. Its more so a restaurant so its going to be a little more pricey but its definitely worth it. Hope to be back in the area again soon so I can go back

Nice atmosphere and good food. I recommend the crab balls for an appetizer and shepherd's pie for an entree. Server was exceptional and attended our table repeatedly throughout our meal.

My wife and I like to try new places every weekend for our weekly lunch/dinner date and I was told by a few people Meagher's was a good place to eat.

Our first trip here we had the crab dip as an app and coming from someone who was raised on the coast of South Carolina and all the local seafood places, the dip was pretty good. We had the bison burgers for lunch and I ordered mine medium rare with fries, the burger was AMAZING, it was cooked just how I like it, seasoned great, served on a brioche roll. We have ate here a few times since our first time.

The first server was really slow at refilling drinks and checking in on us, I could understand if it were busy, but there was only my wife and I and maybe two other tables. But every other time we've been service has been great.

The food was very fulfilling and satisfying, I had the Celtic Fish and Chips. Despite the fact I came with a group of friends late at night, we were able to get served a meal while the restaurant was preparing to close for the night. I have a desire to come again earlier in the day, just to experience a more lively environment.

Atmosphere is just great and the food even better! Bridgeport has a true gem in this one, the menu is unique and traditional for your Irish fix. I was so surprised at how affordable the items on the menu, by far the best bang for your buck! Go grab a Guinness, relax with family and friends and enjoy your time at Meagher's.... You'll be glad you stopped by.
