Island Rhythm Jamaican Cuisine and Catering

Food was fantastic. I had the goat and it was very tender. The mac and cheese was different but good. Jerk chicken was spicy and tender too. Will definitely eat there again. If you are dining in call ahead. Seating is limited.

Had the oxtails, and curry chicken both were excellent. Got the rice and peas, mac and cheese, veggies as sides and they were good as well. Will definitely eat from here again.

I ordered oxtails and rice. I ordered close to closing and they still made it fresh. It took some time but the wait was well worth it. Especially considering I sent my husband to go get it ?
The flavors went from spicy to a lil sweet and tangy back to spicy. The meat was so tender, it slid off the bone with each bite.. I am one happy pregnant customer. Only bad thing I would say is that I tried to call in order next day for some curry chicken and rice, but they are closed ??

I've been to this place a few times. At least 3 times I've been angered!
1. They were closed on a day I really wanted their food. Granted, it was posted they were closed, but still. I couldn't help being upset about it
2. I didn't order ahead. The time I walked in, they were preparing some items I requested and asked to give me a fresh plate. It took longer than I expected, but was beyond delicious!
3. The owner refused to marry me! Granted, I'm already married, but she could've considered. ???

If you read these complaints and thought of them as legit, please disregard. The only thing really is maybe you should call ahead because the food is made fresh and is wonderfully tasty, they run out. As a plus, they care about what they present!
Overall, this is a great place, the staff is friendly and food is worth the wait!

I would love to post a picture, but ate everything before I thought about picking up the phone to capture it.

(P.s. one entity people don't usually rate on is "Next day taste". Their servings are sizable; if you're unable to finish the meal, it's still great as a left over!)

Fantastic food, very clean space, convenient location and courteous staff.
It’s a “must try”.
I had the jerk chicken. It was spicy with succulent, generous portions. Very happy with my choice. Looking forward to trying the oxtails.
