Loved the place. Unexpectedly good! The servings were big, the price was reasonable, and the food tasted great! The servers are really polite and helpful. Special shout out for the hot sauce! It is close to perfection!

My family and I compare Plaza Maya to every other food serving establishment in the world, and often catch ourselves saying "we should have gone to Plaza Maya" when other places in Charleston want to waste our time and drop the ball.

Plaza Maya is unstoppable. They are an army of men and women who serve the perfect meal, rather than bullets.

My son took me here for my first visit. It was great. Love the atmosphere. Veggie taco salad bowl for me and steak and shrimp fajitas for him....all fresh and cooked perfectly.
