Lightburn's Restaurant at The Palmer Course

I dont give 5 stars to anyone lightly, this resort is as good as it gets. Everything was as it should be, service was friendly, in a timely manner, drinks stayed full, Mary Beth done a great job. Food was excellent, the atmosphere was inviting, very clean facility. Highly recommended if your in the area.

Excellent food and excellent service.

We stayed at the Stonewall resort for a few days. First time there. Very nice place. Ate at the restaurant several times. They offer breakfast and dinner buffets and a full menu. We ordered from the menu for breakfast one morning. I got the Bananas Foster French toast. Best thing ever. We were there at the very start of the spring season. Restaurant had only been open for four days. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. They all said they liked working there and couldn't wait for the summer season.

Wonderful dining experience! From the beginning to the end. The staff is definitely top notch. It's so clean you want to take your shoes off at the door. It overlooks Stonewall Jackson Lake, as well as Stonewall Resort, home of an Arnold Palmer golf course.

We stopped for a late breakfast while staying at the lodge during the Christmas holiday season. The service is impeccable, staff friendly and the surroundings beautiful.
