Great coffee with fantastic people. Always a great combination. :-)
Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. You can order tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and there's free WiFi!
I’ve visited Appalachian Coffee House several times now, and every time the coffee has been delicious! My husband usually gets a dirty Chai, and I usually get the Mountain Mama, but we’ve tried several different ones from the menu. The baked goodies are by far the best I’ve had in this area-the cinnamon rolls are my favorite, but the beautiful cakes are hard to resist! The staff is always friendly and make great suggestions. Thank you for bringing such a unique experience to downtown Princeton!
This was our first visit and the single employee was very unfriendly to anyone but her acquaintances which lead to a very unwelcoming vibe in the small space.
I've been very excited to try everything this shop had to offer as I follow their Facebook they often feature delightful looking sweet treats. When we walked in there was no indication that they had any pastries etc. available. No pricing, no signage (that I could see I was also already quite uncomfortable though) so we ordered. Not until we sat down did we see a case with a few items however at this point we were not that interested.
Good coffee and tasty smoothies, however smoothies were mostly ice and flavoring rather than fruit. When paying $4 for a smoothie you're hoping for more than a "slushie".
We rarely have time for these activities. My daughter even remarked it was like we were on vacation. I hope to try this again at some point and be able give the glowing review I want to provide for local shops.
I happened to be in Princeton for the day yesterday, and was wonderfully surprised with finding the small but delightful Appalachian Coffee House. I had an excellent cup of coffee and a delicious blueberry scone. One of the best treats ever. Highly recommend stopping in sometime. ???? Friendly, personable staff. Clean environment and comfy ambiance.
