Circle K

I went there to fuel up and get some drinks for the next three hours of our road trip. I couldn't find lids to the medium slushies and went to check out.

As I approached the counter, the young male attendant was finishing talking to his co-worker and said, "She was a dog." And then, seeing me, felt the need to clarify. "She was a dog. Not you." Which was not very nice nor did I think he was talking to me, but I just wanted to get my drinks and go.

I asked him if he had any small/medium lids for the slushies and he said, "I think if we did my manager would've yelled at me to stock them. I should probably check at some point." Then he asked if I wanted my receipt and told me to have a nice night.

Very dissatisfied with his level of customer service. Didn't bother to make him check because he seemed so lazy he wouldn't even tell me if he had them, and didn't catch his name. I couldn't tell if he even had a name tag.

The laughing female coworker just spurned him on and didn't offer to check the back room either. Perhaps they should try their hand at a comedy club since customer service doesn't seem to be their calling.

This is one of the busier gas stations that I stop at and though they are short staffed most of the time which can be frustrating the store is kept up on and there are several employees that care a great deal and always go out of their way to ensure that the customers are happy. I was having an issue with a gas pump and the manager stopped what she was doing and walked outside with me try to get to the cause of my issue, she didn’t seem annoyed or irritated in anyway. She was caring and extremely friendly! I stop in this store frequently and other circle k’s in town as well and this is the only one where I don’t pull in and see several employees standing on the sidewalk smoking cigarettes while there is a line. As far as the previous review about the manager I have spoke with her several times and never had an issue of her being too busy to speak with me, like I said I’ve seen her stop what she was doing several times!
