House of shawarma

Hands down my favorite restaurant in Morgantown. The food is outstanding every time you go. It's always warm, well-seasoned, and fresh! The veggies are never mushy or taste like they've been cut too long ago. The meat is tender and the falafels are crispy. Great pita here, too! Great portion especially for the price, and a nice balanced meal. Make sure to get extra sauce, it's delicious!

House of shawarma is a God send, particularly for Muslim travelers passing through WV. Brother Hussain's hospitality and food is unparalleled! Highly recommend the falafel, gyro wrap, gyro bowl, baklava. Everything we tasted was fresh and absolutely delicious. Thank you brother and we hope to see you again next time we're in town!

I just want to say the food was incredible! I am super hesitant when it comes to breaking out of my comfort zone but I'm so glad I did. The fries are so full of flavor and my chicken bowl was absolutely amazing!! And to top it off they homemake their baklava and it was incredible and growing up around Greek communities I know good baklava.... theirs with chocolate sauce was pure heaven!! The service was so good and he was so nice and welcoming!! We will definitely be back!!

A while ago, I decided to stop going to the mega fast food joints and instead, support the local cuisine. House of Shawarma delivers in taste, flavors and portion size! I loved everything on the menu, especially the Gyro bowl, the babaganoush and hummus. Call ahead, pick up, eat half for lunch, the rest for dinner. You'll save bundles, thank me later.

Arguably the best gyro in town.
The sandwich is big and the meat portion was generous.
The grape leaves need more lemon and the baklava was average.
Chef was friendly and fast
