    This is the restaurant inside of the Oglebay Resort a little formal and very dated in the decor but the views are spectacular of the resort area the menu is rather Limited and a bit stuffy but overall okay for business people but I don't feel it's very family-friendly

    We had the seafood buffet and it was delicious! So much to choose from. We always look forward to going each year!

    We were at the lodge to eat at the Ihlenfield Dining Room 2 days after Christmas 2018. We were a party of 14 with 5 children and 3 teenagers. They accommodated us well. We had a great view of the lights while we ate and our group of rather rambunctious children were welcomed. The service was quite good. Our server was efficient yet personable and all the requests from our assorted party members were fulfilled promptly. Most of us had the buffet and it was amazingly good. Much better the we had expected from past experiences. The ambience for a large group of assorted ages can't be beat.
