Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

The cook staff worked their tails off to keep the food hot and fresh, hats off to them ☺️ Unfortuneately, my server was not that attentive she didn't check up on me at all. Actually, she did when I had the receipt and phone in my hand and she thought I was doing the survey. So, when she asked if I wanted a refill, I politely told her no and told her I was done and left. Had a tip for her, but she did nothing for it. I really hate leaving like that, folks in here bust their butts. But, a bit of politeness goes a long way.

The waitress that myself an my family had was great. Her name was Ann. The food was good all but some of it had been on the buffet bar for a while an not changed out. The salads was good. The dessert bar was awesome. The chocolate fountain was so nice. We all enjoyed the chocolate fountain. It wasnt a bad experience. We will be back. Thanks Ann for being so nice to us an keeping a check on us. You are a great server..

Great place to celebrate birthdays. Sharon, the waitress, was very attentive. She surprised the birthday boy by serving him a cupcake with a candle and a big chocolate-covered strawberry. The Beckley restaurant was clean throughout, including the restrooms. The visit was worth the trip!

EXCELLENT. I don't usually expect much from Golden Corral based on past experience, but this one is a gem. When I walked in it was bright and clean. The steaks were actually GOOD. Tender and flavorful and the guy at the grill actually gave me a whole one instead of cutting off a little piece like they do everywhere else. All the food was hot and fresh and the employees were friendly and hospitable. WAY BETTER than the GC back home in Knoxville, TN.

I have to commend our server Samantha, she was one of the hardest working people in there. She not only tended to her customers, she was helping restock food pans at the buffet or rolling silverware in the back while a group of other servers including one from the dessert area were "hiding out" in the server station as tables filled. A few of them would stretch to look over the partition and duck back down, joking with each other while sipping on a beverage, we observed this going on several times as we ate. Whenever we go back, I hope she's still there.

Now with that said, the food was great. Food pans were restocked consistently. The steak and other meats were done just right. There's plenty to choose, from seafood, poultry, pork and beef, pizza, pasta, multiple potato dishes, all kinds of vegetables, melt in your mouth dinner rolls, fresh salad fixings and fresh fruits and a fully stocked dessert bar. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault! I'm getting hungry and wanting to go back just thinking about all that food.

Prices are comparable to a sit down restaurant at around $11 (with drink/tax) for lunch (11-4 and just under $18 (with drink/tax)for weekend dinner (4-close). Don't forget to join their birthday club, I got a buy 1 get 1 free meal for my birthday and a free beverage for joining (need to print coupons to use).
