A nice place to stop while traveling the WV Turnpike. The outdoor play area is a nice place for the kids to stretch their legs. We've only eaten at the restaurant once, seems to be a limited menu but the taco salad I had was delicious. Also something unique to find when searching for a gift, just wish more things were in my price range. Many of the artisans are local.
Historic with amazing food, friendly staff. Vendors sell home made things here as well as you can take pottery classes. It's a great put stop for traveling or if your a local it's a great meet spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Have passed this place on numerous occasions and decided to finally check it out. Parking is plentiful if you don't mind a bit of a walk, good after a few hours in the car. The layout is a large circle, with a large variety of "made in West Virginia" goods. We walked the entire circle, and purchased a few items. The variety is good, prices seem average. Is nice to be able to explore many different items in one location. Well done, worth a stop. On a side note, the restaurant smells were great, unfortunately we had already eaten and didn't try the food, may have to make a stop to try it in the future!
Very eclectic collection as they say. I love to stop here on my way to and from the south back to Ohio. From totally out there priced beautiful items to very affordable articles that are still very tempting. Great quality. Great staff and layout. I am glad I found this place as it literally is in the middle of nowhere WV and wouldn’t have found this if I hadn’t used I-77. I hope to be able to eventually afford the high end bronze articles.
Beautiful place. The artists have made unique items of glass, wood, bronze, jewelry and honey, jams and sauces. They had a restaurant there, though I didn't eat. I am a truck driver and the service plaza provides parking, with a long stairs up to Tamarack. It is so nice when I can enjoy these things, rather then wishing it. And I spent $58.
