(February 11, 2022, 2:44 pm)One big takeaway I had from this inn was how friendly the staff was in every single interaction. Cozy breakfast room and cozy bedroom with everything I needed for a nice stay at night. Also very close to the ski resort.

(January 23, 2022, 4:49 pm)Really a nice, rustic place to stay while in the mountains of West Virginia. Really nice people own and operate the Brazenhead - their hospitality imbues the place with a welcoming, sincere friendliness. Now, it's charming because it's rustic and simple - a log-type structure, a down-to-earth warmth and ambience consistent with the mountain experience of rural West Virginia, so don't expect a Marriott or Hilton chain-type atmosphere or a room decked out in plush generic flourishes - this isn't a chain hotel experience. Close to the ski slopes of Snowshoe, so it reminded me of a classic, old school New England ski lodge. The place was built by hand by the owner and his sons, and is quite a piece of work, charming because it's a bit quirky. The rooms are rustic, pretty basic but clean and homespun, again that's part of the charm. It has a restaurant and a bar. If you are in the area to enjoy the ambience and milieu of the West Virginia mountains, the Brazenhead is a perfect part of that experience.

(January 10, 2022, 2:36 am)Great stay! Will and Amber were amazing hosts. Nice breakfast and great chatting with them. The Pub was closed the night we were there, but the place looks like it had a great vibe and we hope to come back for some refreshments one day.

(October 18, 2021, 2:20 pm)The owners are such good, kind hearted people. They really welcomed us, and made our trip 100 times better. The family atmosphere is wonderful, you can’t help but feel comfortable. It was a wonderful trip. 100% would recommend you stay here!

(October 16, 2021, 7:56 pm)This place is awesome. The owner and staff make you feel like family. The room was clean, comfortable and the Inn itself is beautiful. The owners dog Molly is such a sweetheart. Perfect location as a hub for some great motorcycle riding. Loved our stay. Thanks Will and Amber for making our stay great. I will be back soon.
