(August 1, 2019, 4:44 pm)Down Home Diner has a great menu and the best breakfast in Kingwood! Try the flapjacks or the buckwheat pancakes, or just get them both. Items and entrees are made to order and the kitchen and wait staff at Down Home Diner are great. It looks like I know where I'm going for lunch now!

(July 22, 2019, 8:55 pm)A friend had her car break down as we were driving through, we had just eaten breakfast, so we weren't eating, but they were totally fine with us waiting to hear from the mechanic sipping coffee for hours! I deeply appreciate how generous the wait staff was with us
