Excellent place to with kids. Food is great and had arcade games for fun

Chicken and dumplings were great. My father-in-law loved the cod sandwich. The bus boy was working hard. We enjoyed ourselves.

As has been the case with most restaurants that I have experienced around this area, you have to approach them from a perspective of lowered expectations.

First off, I want to say that the staff was a sweet as they could be. Honestly, I'd give the staff at most places in the area high marks in general. The area has a lot of people who were at least nice to us.

But being a restaurant, I have to also factor in the food. Now the food here wasn't bad per se. It just wasn't particularly good, either. It was perfectly average. And while I am tempted to add a star because the people were so nice, they were not particularly great at their job. You order at the counter and then go sit and they bring the food. We opted to sit outside and we basically had to fend for ourselves. Needed napkins, had to go find them. Fork was missing, had to go find it. Now it is the type of place where even if you are not used to such, you find yourself not minding. But at the same time, it is not the expectation when going to a restaurant.

All of that said, based on the options in the area, if we had to eat out in that area again, would probably eat here.

Fun little place to stop for a quick bite to eat and fun for the kids. The woman working the counter was very patient, informative and hard working. Had the best burger. Could use music for atmosphere and a little sprucing up. Otherwise, a nice place to stop with the family!
