“This was a very interesting place just in a little small historic town called Thomas West Virginia... Inside is very decorative with lots of local honey and baked goods such as pepperoni rolls and delicious muffins and delicious cakes and such and you can also get some nice souvenirs or T-shirts if you're a visitor in the area... The prices for everything was very reasonable and the two ladies there that were working were very nice to us.. I would recommend checking out this little place if you're ever in this small town of Thomas West Virginia.”

“This place is known for their pepperoni rolls. They won runner up in a contest for the best rolls in the state. They bake them fresh all day long. They also have a decent sized liquor and beer section. Cases of beer are sold at state minimum price along with cigarettes. Lastly, they have a kitchen section that can make pizza, subs, wraps, burgers, other sandwiches, and many fried appetizers. They have lunch specials every weekday. All in all, I highly recommend.”

“This quaint roadside motel was perfect! Super cute on the outside and even cuter in the room! My favorite part-- a bottle opener attached to the counter in the bathroom!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 I thought it was so clever! The bar was awesome! I loved all the art and wallpapers! The staff was so friendly, we met Josh and Al on Sat! And I met Kristen on Sunday! You get to enjoy two free cocktails during your stay and they offer a delicious rich French pressed coffee with thick creamer in the morning! Can't wait to visit again!”

“Very Happy to find Brenda's Backwoods Grill. We were traveling through WV on our way to a family reunion and stopped in here for dinner. It was wonderful. The atmosphere is one of family hospitality. The prices are reasonable and the portions generous. Of note is he fried bologna sandwich. It is a thick slice of crispy pan-fried bologna on their fluffy homemade white bread. Get it with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. If you are not local (as I am not) this might sound weird. Put aside those biases and try it out. You will be thrilled. The chili is also excellent. Get in on a burger or dog, and go whole hogger and load it on some cheese fries. When you are done, whatever is on the menu today for dessert, get it. Great job Brenda's. I hope we return your way soon.”
