This locally owned business gives a retro feel and menu to your casual dining. Good chili for your hot dog with chili and slaw
Must have been really good cuz they were packed I didn't stay
We always stop in when we are in town. Exceptionally clean restrooms, friendly staff, and good food! Try the hot fudge cake ;)
Great hotdogs! My wife and I stopped here on our way home from Snowshoe. The restaurant was very clean with nice seating and tables. The food was fresh and the bathrooms were clean. Staff was also polite and friendly. Will gladly visit again!
Love this place. It's where I go when I go out to eat. Cleanest, quickest, best tasting restaurant in town.
Main complaint in the area is prices at the Custard Stand... Let me just say, I'm a Webster County native— Born and raised, and yes: It is more expensive than anywhere else in town(about 1.25 to 1.5x depending on what you get), but there's a reason for that here:
Everyone else drops prices in order to keep people coming back, and that's because everywhere else in town pales in comparison due to extreme low quality service. You get what you pay for here. They have a standard they have to meet, and they settle for nothing less.
In short:
If you're visiting Webster Springs and are looking for a place to eat, go to the Custard Stand. Anywhere else is a waste of money.
Also, should note that if you're coming from out of state, the Custard Stand isn't expensive. It's average price for other areas, just not here.
