Corner Café

2 words. Swisher Slammer. This place has the biggest yummiest breakfast we’ve ever had!! Definitely one to share! As you can see, it makes my little girl very happy to go there 🤣😋

Cannot say enough good things about this place! It is our new go-to spot.
Fred, the owner, and his partner, Jodie, are wonderful hosts and try to accommodate each guest and make sure they have a pleasant experience.
The food is terrific homestyle cooking. The wait staff is pleasant and attentive. Those folks work hard and never seem to stop.
Shout out to the kitchen staff, especially Allan's delicious take on chicken livers and Ms. Tammy's home made rolls. 😋

Everything was good from service to food flavor. The serving sizes are a bit smaller than most places so don't go thinking there will be leftovers. Seating is a bit cramped and they need to fix the one sun blind....the sun will blind you. Overall it was good, not great, but good. Hillbilly Philly....they were out of sweet tater fries and battered fries (my first 2 choices)

Food was great, service was great, everything was perfect! The server was really nice & she knows what she’s doing. We’ll definitely come back again for breakfast! :)

Don’t blink, because you probably missed it! This café is right on the corner of and Street across from sheets in downtown Parkersburg and right by Matheny motors. If you have ever been to pointe Park you’ve passed right by this gem! Though it has a modern look this particular spot is chock-full of history and it’s written all over their walls. The food is everything you would expect from home town café… dependable and delicious! He probably also never heard of this place because they don’t advertise a lot and they don’t have to they’re local following is pretty large with loyal customers.

This is the kind of place you go and order “over medium eggs” and they know exactly how to cook them every single time, perfectly. Their BLTs are incredible and their homemade pies are unbelievable.

Pay special attention to the specials menu because every one of them is exactly as stated: special.

Today we came for breakfast, as always, literally everything was perfect… and again, as always, everything came out quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend their loaded potatoes.
