St Croix Casino Turtle Lake

Really enjoyed the casino. The music "Ladies from the 80's" was an awesome show. Hope they are back next New Year Eve. The bartender in The Book sport bar was awesome. Everyone from security to player club was nice, service oriented. Great experience.

We usually never win at this casino. We just play slots. Most of the time we go up there for their chicken dinner and while I sandwich in the restaurant!
We decided to go up last night and for the first time manage to win a few crumbs to drag us along for a while!
Here is my beef that I want everyone to know… apparently sometime back in August I think the gal said, when you cash out your ticket at the kiosk they will only give you dollars back. If you want your odd change you have to physically go to the cashier hand her your receipt to get your $.50, or $.22, or $.79, etc..
Now to many people that might seem like a waste of time. But all that change adds up and if you don’t go get it who do you think reaps the rewards of that? Oh yes the casino $$ is making a ton more money off the laziness of people who don’t want to go get their change or think it’s worth it.
I don’t know why but that annoys me to no end. Yes, I could just go to the cashier to begin with and wait in a long line and I will just because they don’t need to have any more of my money.
I don’t usually try to go off on a tangent with my reviews but this one rubbed me the wrong way.

Friendly place, good food, games are pretty good. Cards and dealers are fun. The sports book area is awesome for an area but honestly it's the worst sports book I've ever witnessed. No live betting. No props. Limited parlays. The machines time out to much. Also I miss the self serve pop.
