This was an excellent dining experience. The waitress was great, the decor was beautiful, the food was so, so amazing and the chef even came out to ensure we had enjoyed the food. We got the steak tartare, crab artichoke dip, slow roasted prime rib, halibut and the seafood risotto. All of us loved our meals and were trying each other’s. We all recommend this place.

If you want delicious, creative food in northern Wisconsin, this is your place. Each time my husband and I leave The Rookery, we comment all the way back to the cabin about how good everything was from the cocktails to start the meal (ask for mushrooms with your Old Fashion!), friendly service, mouth-watering menu options and even the dog who greets you in and out of the front door. Highly recommended!
