Ate dinner on a Wednesday between 5 and 6, and the parking lot was full. Was able to get a seat right away, and the service was prompt. The menu offers pizzas and footlong hot dogs. I got a 14-inch 1/2 sausage, pepperoni, and 1/2 sausage, mushroom. Crust was perfectly cooked thin, and the sausage layer was flat under the cheese. This method provides sausage with every bite. Overall, it was a nice bar style pizza.
The pizza is the same as what I grew up on as a kid living in Iron River, MI. I love having them nearby in Green Bay and I look forward to getting my all-time favorite pizza as often as I want without the long drive north to the U.P. Every pizza I have ever had has been compared to Riverside pizza and a few come close but nothing else has beaten it!
This is my favorite pizza in Green Bay now! I compare the pizza flavors to a favorite restaurant, The Ambassador, in Upper MI, where I grew up. My husband said, how the sausage is placed to cover the pizza is ingenious, you always get sausage with every bite.
