Island Sushi De Pere

Wonderful sushi and excellent service. I really loved the upstairs by the boats but the lower end is good too. The tolls have great variety and the appetizers are tasty too!

The service at the bar and at our table was wonderful. The added piece of having a local artist singing during our meal was a plus. We did the all you can eat option at the table instead of the boats. The reason for the 4 stars is that the rice was not cooked fully. We had hard rice with each bite of our sushi rolls. We have been before and the sushi has been fantastic. We will be back to give them another shot. Assuming it was just an off night.

The food was good per usual, but did seem to lack the quality it once used to have. Food seemed almost as if it sat longer than it should have.

That in mind however is not why the 3 star is given. We were told 20 minutes for a wait which we were fine with but our wait was 65 minutes! There was a table available the entire time we were waiting and we assumed it was just not a table they assigned people, until we finally sat down and then the table was immediately sat at. Very disappointed.
