Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que

We stopped in for Green Bay Restaurant Week and it was absolutely one of the best bbq meals I have eaten. Our server, Maggie was very attentive and did an excellent job. I will definitely be back.

Service was fast. Our waitress Augustine was great. We didn't wait long for drinks or our meals. My husband had BBQ chicken while I had brisket and chicken strips. Food was very good. She checked back with us several times to make sure our meals were good. Brought refill without me having to ask. Even offered my husband ice cream as it was his birthday. One of our favorite places to eat when we visit Green Bay. I do miss the old versions of the fries and chicken strips.

Their Dave's Favorite burger is one of the best burgers I've eaten in my entire life. And I've eaten a lot of burgers. I love their chicken second best, flavorful and moist. As for the rest of their BBQ, it's pretty damn solid, although a few items are too heavy on the sodium, especially their pork and beans. That's all down to taste buds, though, so for others it may be perfectly fine.

Great place. Fun atmosphere. The staff all had a fun vibe. Food was good. Ribs aren't quite 'fall off the bone' type, but the flavor is really good. Great sides, too.
