Tried for the first time today. My kids and husband agree it's way better then erberts and gerberts, Jimmy John's, cousin subs and the firehouse sub place in the area. Definitely a family favorite now. Glad we went today.
The staff was very friendly and we got greated as we walked in and when we left. It made us feel welcome and wanting to come back.
Thanks for making subs amazing ????????????????
Food was amazing. Nice and clean. Highly recommend. The only thing that stopped this place from being a 5 star was the soda machine was down for my entire meal!
It's a good place to mix it up if you're tired of Subway. Didn't think it was anything too special, though. The employees are nice.
Jersey Mike's makes great sub sandwiches, especially for a chain restaurant. For whatever reason, I'm not a fan of their bread - it's very chewy and seems cheap compared to the rest of the quality ingredients. Even so, they still make a great sandwich at a great price!
After trying Jersey Mike's Subs few times now, as well as different types, I've decided that they are......
Mediocre.
I say this for few reasons. But the biggest reason is that unless you get it the jersey Mike way, it's really nothing special. Like if I get the turkey sub, it's just another sub with the same turkey, lettuce, etc. If sub places took risks for unique tasting turkey and ham (like grocery stores) it could be so much better.
But if you get it the Mike's way, it's pretty good actually. Unless you get it from the person who made one of mine where I felt like an bag of lettuce was poured on to my sub as i felt I was eating a salad later. I bit into a ball of lettuce with side of turkey.
So for cold meats, turkey ham and roast beef are all mediocre in the sub sandwich shop category.
For hot subs I only tried the meatball which I would give a 4.5 instead of 4 if possible.
