Feeling a bit rushed through dinner is maybe our one negative takeaway from the night. Apps were passed out as the chef rolled up so if you weren't eating you were served your entree without first enjoying the soup and salad or if you were eating you were missing the show (and ignoring the wonderful interaction between chef and diner that's available)-you get my point. Then dessert was brought out and server was looking to box up our meals when there was still over half a plate yet to enjoy. It wasn't super busy so I'm not sure why there was the pressure put on to hurry up. Otherwise the "show" was entertaining and fun for all ages and the food was delicious. A nice place to take the family when it's time to celebrate something special.

This was our first stop at Nakashima of Japan in Green Bay. As hibachi goes, the food, showmanship, and service was unremarkable. I ordered prime rib and scallops. Both were overcooked. The fried rice was pretty blah, as was the broth. I have been to other hibachi where the soup served was miso, or the broth at least had some mushrooms, scallions, and perhaps a few fried onions. There were lots of families with young kids in a large space with maybe 8 tables, so if you are looking for a more intimate hibachi experience I think you would be disappointed. The waitress was slow with taking our order But then she brought the broth and soup at the same time. I would have enjoyed a pause between courses. The decor is pretty interesting. The bar area has an underwater theme, and the restaurant area has an area for sit down sushi, and of course a large hibachi enterprise. Ladies, you definitely need to check out the bathrooms! The toilets provide full bidet service, which was a surprise.

Our overall experience was great. The hibachi and sushi was excellent and the chef was entertaining. The only reason this isn't a five star review was because of the price. I ordered the chicken hibachi and 4 pieces of yellow tail nigiri with a whiskey coke and my wife had the swordfish and steak hibachi with a sushi roll (not sure which roll) and a glass of water. The bill with gratuity (which the restaurant automatically added) was $114. In my opinion this is a little pricey compared to other similar restaurants in the surrounding area but the food was fantastic...
