Always good food here,everything!!! Deluxe baked potato is filling&just the right amount of everything. Service is quick&staff is friendly. Now they have take out menus&punch cards! Totally worth trying&you will end of going back&trying new things.

Great BBQ, melt in your mouth Turkey, ribs, and Brisket. Amazing flavors...and friendly staff... well worth the detour from I-94. A must stop travelling from Minneapolis to Chicago.

Huge portions of good quality food. Similar menu options at a different Barbecue place in the Chippewa Valley gives you about a third of the amount of food you'll get at Karl's. Staff has always been welcoming and kind when I've gone.

For me, hands down the best BBQ in the Chippewa Valley. It all starts with the quality of the meat, and Karl's seems to choose the best around. Their brisket is always high-quality, and the rib meat is really tasty and plenty of meat on the bone. Neither has a ton of gross fat or meager portions like, ahem, some other establishments. The sauce selection is great, too! For me, the ribs and the brisket are the best in the CV. The other types of meat are REALLY good, too. Fries are ALWAYS piping hot. It's always telling when a BBQ place runs out of meat before the end of the day, and that can be a regular occurrence here -- but don't get mad, get there earlier ;)

Great BBQ! I was recently in South Carolina and Karl's reminds me of the great smoked meat we enjoyed there. The service and portions were excellent and the price is reasonable. Their ribs are the best I've had in the area, properly smoked and very meaty. They have three sauce options and the plate includes a generous portion of cornbread. Will definitely be coming here again.
