Olson’s Ice Cream

Olson's Ice Cream was on my bucket list when I moved here. I heard the ice cream was delicious and this was a must try. I finally went and I completely agree with what I had been told and read! When we got there, there was a line. We sampled a few different flavors and chose what we wanted. A friendly customer told me I had to try thr black licorice, which I didn't even realize was a current flavor choice. I'm so glad she said something because that was one of the best ice cream flavors I've ever had! If you love black licorice you should really get that, and if you don't love black licorice you should still try it.. it was that good! We look forward to going back!

Olson's is the best! The ice cream is beyond and worth standing in line for (black licorice is my absolute favorite). The staff is efficient and friendly. The food is fresh and tasty - good variety. If you go - you'll be back!

Nice atmosphere with very friendly staff!! Only negative comment to say is... they need a bigger building. Hard to serve so many people in a timely manner, with such a small structure.

For our wedding, we decided we wanted ice cream instead of cake. Having grown up in Chippewa, my first thought was Olson's! We reached out and Jeremy (manager/co-owner) was so helpful letting us know our options and letting us sample as many flavors as we wanted! Our event was too far away to have scoopers on site but we were able to order 140 prepackaged 10 oz containers in a variety of flavors. Jeremy gave us tips for transporting the ice cream and where to find dry ice. We were so happy with how everything turned out! Olson's (and Jeremy in particular) made it so easy and we would definitely recommend using Olson's for your large catering needs! Thanks so much!

Olson's is always a great choice! Would take it 100 out of 100 times over DQ. But today the young man who made my daughters malt did not do a very good job. There was still large chunks of ice cream that had not be blended long enough. It was very, very thick. Had to get it and put it in the Ninja to blend it properly. We will still absolutely go back but this was kind of disappointing.
