Great lunch today. Hadn't planned on stopping. Sure glad we did. Will be back when in the area.

Old school, off the highway dining. Good food reasonably priced. Seem to offer soup with everything, even kids meals. Chicken noodle was good, although noodle chicken would have been a better description. Will stop again next time through.

This is a little gem of a restaurant on Highway 29 located in Thorp Wisconsin. They have a huge variety of choices. Get breakfast lunch or dinner anytime of the day whatever you're in the mood for off the menu. Big servings really good prices. It's worth the stop if you're looking for some place to get a good meal at a reasonable rate.

Ok, so the name is corny but... My wife and I stopped on a Sunday excursion to Chippewa Falls and were pleasantly surprised. The place was fairly crowded, yet service was prompt and courteous. I ordered off the senior menu and found it very good. Interestingly our food came noticeably lightly salted! That's great! How often do you encounter over-salted restaurant food? You can always add to your taste but once it's in front of you heavily salted there's no going back. The owner was on site that day and seemed concerned about the welfare of everyone from customers to staff. I like to see that in a family restaurant

The restraunt was rather quiet when we got there. Once we ordered (large menu-took a while to figure out what we wanted) the food was brought to us very quickly. Most of our food was really good. Nice kids menu and all day breakfast.
