Cercis Brewing Company

Great beer and food, nice decor, and great service. Might want to call before a long drive to make sure they are open to public, closed for private parties at times.

Very cool spot. Beer was decent and reasonably priced ($5/pint). Pizza was ok.

Been here 5 times, food is great, many micro brews to choose from, they even have a few guest beers from other breweries on tap. Food is cheap $5 for a quesadilla that is large! I have had 2 different paninis and both were great. The pretzel was awesome and the beer cheese perfect. Service was always good too.

Investments in design and decor allow for a welcoming (think 3rd Ward in Milwaukee) setting to try a sampler of there beers. The red pale ale, porter and Belgium were my favorites. All, however, were delicious and satisfying. Food was tasty. Had a tuna melt on whole grain and was served 1/2 a sandwhich which was quickly corrected. Others had soup (clam chowder) and sandwich (turkey cranberry) and enjoyed these. Worth a stop (or two or three).

Recently found out about Cercis and decided to check it out. I was impressed. Loved the decor. The place was neat and orderly and very clean. We came with a small group and were seated and waited on immediately. Wait staff was friendly and informative. I had a panini and my wife had a cold sandwich and we both loved it. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an Italian style meal ( it's not an Italian restaurant, it's a brew pub). Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is great. We will definitely be back.
