Pizza Ranch

I love the Pizza Ranch in Portage WI. GREAT ATMOSPHERE and the food there is always hot and great. The employees are so nice!

Always great! Love to meet up with my adult Son who lives in Portage for lunch at Pizza Ranch & don't mind driving 73 miles from Janesville to do so. We always have a fantastic chat over great, hot food. They're happy to bring out any pizza you want if it's not on the buffet. Fried chicken is great! My son goes straight for the mashed potatos & gravy. Wonderful staff!

I went to the lunch buffet. No difference in the selection of food between lunch and dinner, but it's about $3 cheaper than dinner buffet at just over $10 after tax. Speaking of selection, there's tons of delicious food that definitely rivals grandma's cooking! Creamy buttermilk mashed potatoes, thick and rich chicken gravy, crispy pressure fried chicken, fish fillets, fresh made soup, sweet baked beans, fully stocked salad bar, and pizzas and dessert pizzas with a wide array of toppings are all for the taking at the buffet. Plus drink is included with the buffet both lunch and dinner. Considering that most places charge $2 or more for a soft drink do the math and compare that to other buffets. Between price and the level of quality in the food, it is a great place to eat!

Meh. I don't really expect much out of a pizza buffet. What I do expect, is quick service at the front, and reasonably fresh pies. Neither of these things happened. Clearing service at the table was decent, and the staff was friendly. Dessert pies were good.

We were here recently for a meeting that was being held in the early afternoon. All of the staff were very accommodating of the large group and even allowed us to expand into their second room. They kept the buffet filled and were very efficient in clearing plates and taking care of us. Great service & food!
