Backwater Bar & Grill

Smaller menu but the food we had was delicious and a very large portion. Definitely worth it. Be warned, cash only. Ambiance is really good too, even though it was raining and we had to be inside. Well spaced tables. Did not feel crowded or on top of people. We will be back.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.
The second floor dining area has large "garage doors" that create a very open feeling but out of the direct sun. I had the club sandwich that was very big. Excellent ham, turkey and bacon. Tasty ciabatta bread. Sour cream and onion and chives fries were really good. If I had a complaint it would be the chairs at the table.....not good at all but I can't take away a star for that.

New restaurant, has been open for several months. All brand-new construction. Wide-open terrace overlooking the river. Very small menu but food came out very fast. The cheese curds are a disappointment, but everything else is good. Barstools are too tall for tables. Don’t sit at any of the high tables.
