Cantering Cafe

Holy cow the breakfast burrito is top-notch. I'm eating it right now and had to stop to write this review. Awesome food and a consistently great cup of Starbucks coffee. Excellent addition to Brooklyn!

Went to Cantering with a friend this morning. Great atmosphere, great food. The burrito was super filling and tasty. My toddlers enjoyed the pancakes and fresh fruit. Love that they cut the fruit fresh everyday. Servings are big and easily feed at least 1 adult, many options serve 2. The food is similar to a lot of breakfast cafes, but it’s cooked so well, that it tastes better! They were very welcoming to our children, and didn’t mind them wandering around, also it’s a very destructive toddler friendly place, which is so wonderful, as most cafes are not. They serve Starbucks coffee, great addition to Brooklyn. I will be back for sure! I hope they stick around for a long time 😊.

Great and very friendly atmosphere! Loved the fresh fruit option as a side: strawberries, melon, raspberries, and grapes. Coffee was good as was the burrito...would have been better if the tortilla shell was warm and cheese was a little more melted. My son said the pancakes were good; the sausage patty was tasty as well.

Would have given 5 stars but for a couple of details: We dined in, but all beverages were brought in disposable containers--2 coffees, a hot chocolate and a water. Reusable cups and mugs would be so much better for the environment!

Also, the plates were not super heavy duty--the plate was spinning as I tried to cut my son's pancakes and wobbled a bit. Small details, but overall a welcome place for Brooklyn!

This place was so welcoming! It was amazing to walk in and be greeted by the lovely, and truly kind staff. I will definitely be going back here often! Thank you so much for making the ordering quick and easy, and making the food delicious!!

The service was great and the food was incredible. I got the spicy burrito and it wasn’t over bearing but tasty and super savory. Even my kids ate it and they are usually picky. We also had the Best forking pancake ever and let me tell you, it sure was. The pancake was fluffy and the toppings were amazing. And to add to the already amazing food they also serve Starbucks, which of course is always a need in the morning. Overall the food was incredible, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back! I would recommend this 100%!!!
