Deerfield Grille

Went for Friday night Fish, was excellent. Jay the server/bartender was great, he is very busy!

Food is great. Service is good, especially considering the server doubles as the bartender. This is a very small establishment so I guess I would say keep that in mind when making plans to visit. I totally appreciate the effort to improve the Deerfield eating options. Unfortunately, the bar atmosphere has completely overshadowed the improvements, at least for my family. I would not call this a family friendly location. The bar had "back that a** up" playing on the jukebox (and many other foul songs followed) and there was a foul mouthed group of patrons at the bar. Meanwhile I'm out to dinner with my young kids at 6 o clock on a Saturday. I get it, it's a bar. But I was hoping the improvements and the dinner time crowd would have been more family oriented. Sorry to say we won't be back any time soon, at least not with our kids. I suggest limiting that jukebox lineup until 7pm or 8pm at the very least. Maybe we'll try breakfast next time and see how that goes. As I said, the food was great.

Friday night fish fry. Around 6:00 clock and tables available. Other than fish was the regular menus. It’s Friday, why would you get anything else? Fish was very good and was moist with light batter. Tasted like fish and not greasy batter. Combo of two pieces of fish (Cod or Walley) and 3 large shrimp for $13.00.
Great selection of beer and mixed drinks. Will go back for the lunch specials. Oh, the chairs - you will never find more comfortable chairs anywhere.

The new owners opened Feb 24 and are doing a great job. The food is great, and the new bar stools are awesome! The video poker pays out with a combo ATM and Ticket Redemption machine.

Love the new set up! The new owners that took over as of 2/20/2024 have really transformed the place with just a few more tables, fancy chairs and a new layout. The food we had was delicious. I recommend the cheese curds and onions rings. We also tried the Deerfield club sandwich, hot ham and cheese, patty melt, and cheeseburger. All were great! Will definitely be returning soon.
