Squirrel's Nest

Very good food at a very good price. Don't bother trying to get in on a weekend morning though. It's always packed and no where to wait since its a very small building with limited seating and parking. Go at an off time and try the cinnamon toast crunch French toast or the fish fry.

We went for breakfast and it was wonderful. They have some of the best fish around. I ordered an omelet with hash browns and toast. The omelet was full of veggies and cheese. The hash browns were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The staff members were friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable.

Hey squirrel! Pay attention! If you want a great place for breakfast and beverage, you've got to get to McFarland and visit the Squirrel's Nest! Breakfast sandwich and walleye and eggs were outstanding! Can't wait to go back!

Excellent breakfast. Was brought here by friends and it certainly is worth the drive. Great service and pricing.

Every time here is fantastic! We typically have Ashley or Katie as our bartenders, but all are super friendly and efficient! Also, we have never had a mediocre meal.....the food is always excellent! Very casual environment.
