Quivey's Grove

Really nice historical collection of buildings with many of the original features still in great condition. I went for lunch and my sandwich was very good. Nice selection of craft beers. Very unique wine cellar.

Get there early for Friday fish. The tartar sauce is amazing! Food is excellent! Ambiance is excellent as well. I have never had a bad experience. Show up late and expect a long wait, but the food is well worth it.

My husband and I came here for a late Valentine's dinner and absolutely loved our experience. Food was delicious and our drinks did not disappoint. We will definitely be back here. Great friendly service!

The Stable Grill has arguably the best Friday night fish fry in Madison. Staff is always friendly, and service is prompt. They don't take reservations for the Stable Grill, so get there early to avoid a long wait. Better yet, head there Wednesday for the same great fish fry without the crowds!

It's a beautiful place. The servers were perfect. The fish was really good (not just the fried fish, either!). Some items were lacking in flavor; potatoes had little or no seasoning, and "special sauce" (and tartar sauce) we're just mayonnaise. A couple of things we tried were okay (burgers/sandwiches), but I think maybe were too much for some (we love ciabatta, but it's a bit rough around a half pound of beef and all of the doodads on top of the beef.). Will definitely be back for the fish!
