Muramoto Downtown

Great sushi and cocktails. Highly recommend the lychee martini. Overall good spot, but if you are looking for "fancy" or higher end ambiance it may fall a tad short. Food was so great...my team loved it.

Really great food!!! But not better than Red sushi. I’m NOT satisfied with the service. First of all: No smile from anyone!The waiter won’t even take a photo of us on our anniversary.. and the lady at the door has a very interesting attitude. They probably had a bad day, which is fine. but definite will NOT go back for special occasion there again. RED sushi has much much better service and did amazing little thing for my boyfriends birthday.

Summary: if you want good food: go there; if you want celebration and good service: THINK TWICE!

The sushi was good. I liked the little spice in their miso soup. Atmosphere was nice and staff was friendly. It was good/better than average, but not spectacular. I would go again but probably not make a special trip there.

Very solid sushi at a mid to high price. Surprisingly diverse beer selection as well. The other spirits - like sake and Japanese whiskey - that they offered looked enticing and they had an expansive list, but I didn't try any on my visit. I recommend going for a combo dish that features Chef's Choice rolls or getting two special rolls to share with another. Have heard this is also a great date spot and I can see why.

If you are not in the mood to deal with the crowded space at Red, definitely check out Muramoto downtown! Their sushi is just as good as Red's, if not better. The atmosphere is much more relaxing and it is way more affordable! Muramoto is a great date night spot or perfect for a girl's night out. I will be going back for sure!
