We had a great visit! The order patio is fantastic. We had the burger, firecracker shrimp tacos and hand cut fries and everything was very good!
Definitely check this place out, and get a reservation as it's very popular at lunch!
Second time visited tonight, the wife has been few more. Always great food and service. Thanks Bridget! Perfect timing with asking for drink refills, etc. Pork belly tacos, fantastic brussel sprouts, and an excellent brunch.
Drink selections could be improved, not a great selection of any spirit, beer, or wine just the standard that are found everywhere.
The food and service really stands out!
(I'm posting this under my husband's account.)
Held book club last night for 9 of us at Buck & Honey's in Monona. It was packed to the gills, so we were glad we'd made reservations a week in advance for a space in the lower level.
We worked with Hannah to make it happen, and when we arrived everything was set up and ready to go. Food was great, service was excellent, view was terrific. Hannah's a definite asset and represents B&H well.
If I had a suggestion for improvement , it would be to put something (plants? fabric?) in the room to help absorb sound. The large room had a beautiful table and chairs, but our voices kind of echoed. Otherwise, fantastic experience.

The food was okay, way overpriced for the quality. Service was slow and while I enjoy a leisurely lunch/dinner sometimes, it took 2 hours to order drinks, order food, get our food and eat. Our drinks were long gone before our food even arrived. Our waitress was friendly, but not really around. I know they're new here, so I'll give it another chance. But the experience was not worth the price we paid.
Got the chance to check the restaurant out during their soft open "friends and family night". While it was clear they were still working out the links, the service was incredible. Our server was Thu and she was great. Super nice and fun to chat with. We ordered the nachos which could be a meal for two people and would easily serve 3-4 as an appetizer. Our main entree was the pork flat iron with butternut squash. The pork was amazingly tender but a bit salty. Overall the dish was a winner though. We stuck with tried and true creme brulee for dessert. Great flavor but wanted the sugar crust to have a bit more color. We also spent some time at the bar and had fun getting to know the bartenders. Try the smoked Manhattan, you won't be disappointed!
