Awesome beer! Pizza is almost as awesome as the beer. Menu is diverse as far as pubs go. Great service with very pleasant servers.

Best burger I've had in a while. The food here is excellent and the beer is pretty solid too. Make sure you have plenty of helpers if you order the oof-da pretzel, but you'll be glad you did because it is fantastic. My favorite beer is Erik the Red. They have a good selection though and you can order a flight with as many beers as you like. There is also a pizzeria upstairs. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

First visit on a trip to Madison, WI. It was a good time to stop along the way there. There was a wait because the place was busy but I'm pleased to say our fresh cooked lunch was quick. The burgers tasted of flame searing which was yummy. I had the grevling burger. It is a burger patty with an Erik the Red brat on it. It is served with a beer mustard which is yummy. I didn't get a lot of flavor from the brat. Like I said, the burger was great, and the cheddar cheese on the burger was delicious. It is Wisconsin after all. The burgers come out hot and juicy, so wait a bit before biting or cutting into it if yours comes out that way. You don't want to loose the juices by cutting in too early. I had the waffle fries which were a good choice. I do recommend a stop in town just for the burgers. I think we might have to plan for a longer stop in My. Horeb some day in order to enjoy all the trolls!

I have visited The Grumpy Troll on 3 different occasions. It is always clean, the service is incredible and the food is great! I have eaten at the pizzeria upstairs and the Mediterranean pizza was fabulous. I have eaten downstairs and had a burger and it was well cooked and had great charcoal flavor. The Grumpy Troll Bloody Mary was perfectly spicy and tasty and the brew was perfect as well. On Sunday, Jen was our bar tender and she was attentive, helpful and friendly! This is my new favorite place to go.

Their burgers are amazing. There are many beer samples to choose from. It's a nice atmosphere to be in for a nice lunch/dinner. The bartenders and staff are great. Jen was our bartender when we ate at the bar. She has always been very sweet and helpful when we go in. Dress is casual. Kids are welcome. They do offer funny and cute tshirts as well to be sold. They also sell these cute baskets for gift ideas. It is now on my list of places to go when I'm hungry for an amazing burger. Their portion sizes are big. Bring your hungry bellies!
