Marcines

This is one of my favorite places to enjoy both the food and the country bar atmosphere. If you're within an hour's drive, it's worth the trip. Great pizza and food specials. Very friendly wait staff and GREAT prices. Bring cash though.. no credit cards accepted.

Excellent service and amazing food. I love the burgers and sauerkraut. This is a greasy spoon bar and grill type restaurant just past Verona in Mt. Vernon. They have different specials everyday. It gets a bit noisy but it is a fun atmosphere.

As a self proclaimed pizza fanatic, Marcines is my favorite pizza in Madison. The toppings are outrageously huge, always fresh, and very tasty. Also priced very low for the amount of food you get!

I typically do takeout, but the staff seems friendly and approachable when I come and go.

Cash only is the only catch you need to be aware of.

This is the remnants of 6 chickens, costing $6. Easily the best wings in Dane county, and for the price on Wednesday, it's unbeatable! If you are looking for a location for an eat off, this is the place to do it! For wing night I recommend Chipotle or Cajun (both dry rubs). Also get a few BBQ for a little sauce to dip the dry rub wings in! Unbeatable!! If you go for pizza, be warned that I, a guy who puts away 25 wings on Wednesday, struggle to finish half a pizza! So for an average person, estimate eating two slices! My favorite pizza is BBQ sauce with chicken, hamburger, and green peppers!

Marcines is hands down the best restaurant in the world, never disappoints, and will fill your gut regardless of the night you go!
