Benvenuto's Italian Grill

The food was really good, service was ok. We stopped on a super busy night, so service was slow, which is understandable, but there were a few issues.
Our friend ordered the unlimited soup and salad and asked to get both right away and was told he could only get one at a time. He got his first salad when the rest of us received ours before our entrees. Then he had to wait until we got our entrees to get his second.
Once we received our entrees service disappeared. Someone wanted salt, our friend wanted soup, another wanted Parmesan. So everyone sat around for a while. I guess the biggest issue was just that someone had unlimited soup and salad but was never asked if he wanted more. He had to wait for the server to check on the rest of us and then ask for more, which when you have a small side salad, he was waiting most of the time.

Love the food. Especially since they try to use all their products from Wisconsin. Basically giving back and helping the community! Great place for dinner and totally worth it. Most definitely recommend and will go back!

A friend and I stopped for lunch here a couple weeks ago on Saturday and we were not disappointed we both were very happy with the service and the food. We didn't order an appetizer just entrees I ordered a small pizza and my companion ordered lasagna both our orders were served in a timely fashion and as I've come to expect from Benvenuto's in Beaver Dam everything was perfect and delicious. Our server was great the whole late afternoon lunch was perfect.

Free surface parking. This Italian family style restaurant is tucked back away from street (with gas station & different restaurant between street & Benvenuto's). Good lunch menu at good price. Wait staff serve tables & booth. My lunch sandwich meal was large & quality good.

This place has improved. Gone there in the past year and was not thrilled about it. My wife likes this one dish that sometimes they have and sometimes they don't. This last time they did and she was very happy. Service was much better than other times.
