Ponderosa Steakhouse

This is a place that hasn't changed much in 30 years. Very reasonable. You know what you're getting into here. Overall, the quality of the food is pretty good for a buffet joint, and the selection is large. With selection comes staleness, though. Several things were past the point where they should've been out in my opinion. Opinions vary. Service was good (but generic) and things were edible.. but it wasn't 5 stars for me.

This place has good food for a buffet. Reasonable prices. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.

This place is ok. I just wish you can order a steak meal without the buffet. I eat food from the buffet waiting for my steak and when my steak gets to our table I'm not hungry anymore. the buffet and service is good. A good place in beaver dam.

First time back to a Ponderosa Steakhouse in years and I must say it wasn't too bad! Best dish was the mashed potatoes with beef tips...and the pasta salads were good. They have plenty of desserts and a great cup of coffee.

Service was great too, drink never went empty!
