The Wisco An Old Fashioned Supper Club

Why can't I give 10 out of 5 stars?!?!?! Hands down, the BEST restaurant we have been to in a long, long, long time. As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted like we were old friends who had been dearly missed. What a great, warm feeling!! We were given fresh popcorn while we ordered our drinks and waited at the bar. It felt like a small town bar where everyone knew each other well. The owner / bartender (Mike) talked to all that were at the bar like he was our neighbor. Once our server came over to take our order it wasn't long until she came back to say that our table was ready. When we were seated we jumped right in and enjoyed the fabulous relish tray and warm bread that were waiting at the table. I had the french onion soup and it was definitely worth the extra little bit of money!! By the time my dinner came (pecan crusted chicken) I was almost too full to eat much because I wanted to save room for the grasshopper that I wanted after dinner. However, the chicken was so moist and tasty that I ate more than I should have. Every single thing about the Wisco was absolutely FABULOUS!!! When we left, completely full and wonderfully satisfied, Mike made a point of running us down at the door to say thank you and good bye. Who does that anymore??? Mayville is, unfortunately, an hour and a half from home but we would seriously contemplate making the trip back just to eat at Wisco! They have set the bar very high in my eyes! Thanks for a fantastic experience!! (By the way, I love the card / pager system. It let me know that I was in a true Wisconsin Supper Club.)

Ate hear the other week and I have to say the homemade chips on the relish tray are top notch. The rest of the food was really fantastic but I would come back just for the chips alone. The server was very friendly and I had a great old style supper club experience. There are not many places left like this. Two thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!!

This evening was our first time at The Wisco. As soon as we walked through the door we felt very welcomed. All the food was phenomenal. Best potato pancakes ever! We'll definitely be back!
