This place is a worthy stop and attraction worthy of traveling for. This place exudes the qualities of the comforting and welcoming dining synonymous with the Midwest. A thoughtful menu curated with classic dishes and unique plates serves any crowd. They had gluten free options and vegan choices that will allow your entire party to eat regardless what dietary restrictions they have. The place is tastefully decorated and has a small town friendly staff and atmosphere. You will not be disappointed at brunches. Whether you are passing through or a local this is the place to go!
Brunches was a nice surprise. Excellent service. Delicious breakfast skillets. Will be a regular breakfast stop on way to Sup/Duluth.
The owner is very friendly. Their food comes in very large portions. You won’t walk out hungry. My coffee cup was always full. My husband never had to ask for a refill on his Mountain Dew.
Their bacon cheese bites were not what we were expecting. They have a crispier outside with melted cheese inside. They melt in your mouth. We definitely recommend them!
Their breakfast is served in a cast iron skillet. My husband had their 3 Meat Skillet with over easy eggs and white toast. There was square cut potatoes, ham, sausage, bacon, and an abundance of cheese. He said it was delicious!
I had biscuits and gravy with over easy eggs. I am very picky when it comes to biscuits and gravy. The only reason I decided to try it was because I was torn between the Crab Cakes Eggs Benedict, Chili Cheese Skillet, and the Biscuits and Gravy. I asked the owner her honest opinion she said that they were all very good, but she was craving the biscuits and gravy earlier. She explained that the gravy wasn’t too peppery and wasn’t too light on the pepper. She said it was a good comfort food. She wasn’t wrong.
The biscuits and gravy was very good. The gravy was creamy and had just the right amount of pepper. The biscuits were fresh with crunchy, but not burned, bottoms. The eggs were over easy just like I ordered. It was very filling and great comfort food!
Stopped in with my daughter to get some breakfast. I got the country fried steak and she got the pancakes. No complaints on any of the food, it was good. The service was also good too.
A sign said there was only one cook working the day we went. It did take a few minutes more than average to get our food, but that cook did a fantastic job. We had four meals, two breakfast plates two lunch plates, all came out hot and delicious. We all enjoyed the meal, service was good. Would recommend stopping by if you are travel on highway 53!
