Quite possibly some of the best Thai food I've ever had stateside. We had the red curry and general Tso's chicken. The food is made fresh to order, and tastes clean. Absolutely no strangely textured bites. I consider this place to be a local gem. The staff are always fun and helpful, and the atmosphere is cozy.
Very good food, my only complaint would be that it is expensive for what you get. I think I counted 8 small pieces of chicken in the garlic chicken. Very tasty but more rice than meat
Great restaurant. All the ingredients are very fresh and the staff is extremely friendly
Me and my fiance absolutely love the food here. It's so fresh and delicious. The summer herb rolls are amazing.
This was my first experience at Pak's Green Corner. I took a chance on the Weekly Special: Hang Le Tater Tots, adding one of my favorite desserts, Mango with Sticky Rice. Both selections were inspired. Though I'm usually disappointed, I expect professionally prepared food to deliver an experience that is more than the sum of its parts. I want to taste each of the ingredients, yet combined, they should each contribute to the distinctive character that accounts for this entry's place on a menu.
The main dish was completely new to me, but by the second bite I was already thinking this may be one of my favorite foods - in league with comfort foods from my childhood. Mango with Sticky Rice is so simple, it seems unlikely to be found on every Thai menu, however the gently subtle flavors and textures play so well together, it has proven to be the classic finish to a delicious Thai dinner. I just learned even this elegant pairing can be upgraded.
Though nothing can improve perfectly ripe, fresh mango, the sticky rice was reduced to a chewy confection with a tacky composition something like a candy bar, providing a very pleasing textural contrast to the cool, buttery fruit. The surprise was a slightly sweet coconut syrup draping the rice, the sweetness balanced by a little salty spark. This simple contrast stimulates the palette, saving it from getting bored with the comforting pleasure of this exotic dessert. From now on, all other Mango and Sticky Rice offerings will be judged by this pleasure.
