Monk's Bar & Grill - Eau Claire

Good food made better by the server. Went on 9/27 during a slow time but the server was great. Had a good deal to eat and everything was good. Not a fan of the cheese curds as they don't seem to be fresh made like the Old Fashioned in Madison. The burger I had was cooked well and the fries and chips were fried correctly as well. Good stuff all around.

Stopped here on a Bachelorette party for dinner a few weeks ago... The server was awesome! Didn't wait long for our food! With 80 percent of the group all working in the restaurant industry, we were all pleased. The brisket Mac n cheese was delicious! Will be back again!

Location is easy to find and accessible. Parking is reasonable. The food is poor. Well cooked greasy pub food. It might be good for someone drinking but is not for those with cholesterol problems. The beef brisket on the mac and cheese is dry. It is also a bar and I did not have any alcohol. The bloody Mary offer is below average for the area. The inside is nicely done and the atmosphere is bar like.

I don't leave reviews often but had such a good experience I made sure to today. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Bartender was great, owners came and chatted and genuinely cared if everything was good, and server was very friendly and fast. Great food, and more than just your run of the mill burgers. Don't question it, just come have a meal. Loved this place and their staff!

My family and I went to Monks in EC tonight for supper. We had perfect food. Perfect service. My burger was phenomenal! Our son said he didn’t remember the burgers being this good before! Then it started POURING outside. Like 4+ inches standing on the roads. I jokingly asked the owner, Mike if they had Valet service and he said, “oh why not” AND HE RAN OUT AND DROVE OUR TAHOE UP TO THE DOOR!!
