The Good Wives

My first time here and I loved it! We showed up late to our reservation and the staff was super nice and accommodating. Got the fries as an app and they were delicious, with a great size serving. My friend got the lamb chops, which we’ve both never had lamb, and it was delicious along with its sides. Then I got the chicken and dumplings, very fresh and light with so many flavors! Lastly we finished with a dessert, can’t remember the name but it was chocolate with whipped topping and slight hints of salty crunchiness. We also had wine to pair with it all, which of course was great. Atmosphere was great loved the vibe and the bathrooms were super cute. I think the food is priced accordingly and worth it! Would definitely go back and recommend to others.

The Wife and I had an amazing brunch to finish the year on 12-31-22. We plan on coming back and trying dinner. Service and experience were great; the food was amazing. The Wife had the Eggs en Cocotte and I had the Biscuits & Gravy. We also tried the Brûlée’d Grapefruit, which was solid. We give the place 👍🏻👍🏻, highly recommend. Thank You

My husband and I had brunch at The Good Wives this morning. The place was super cute and cozy. I LOVED all of the plants in the window. We had to wait a couple minutes for a table, but everyone was busy turning over tables quickly and we were seated. I ordered the salmon scramble and my husband had the eggs en cocette. Both of us REALLY enjoyed our food. I was worried that the scramble might be too rich, but it was a perfect balance of eggs, salmon, cream cheese and herbs. The hash browns it was served with were deliciously crispy. My husband loved the different flavors and textures in his dish, as well, and his was served with a side of deliciously dressed tangy greens. Although it was busy when we were there, everyone was busting it to get food and drinks out and update us. We will definitely be back to try dinner here!

We had brunch here this morning, and it was delicious! I had the biscuits and gravy, and my husband had the beef hash. The cheddar and chive biscuits were perfect-soft inside with a gorgeous crust. The beef was fall-apart flavorful. Cute decor. Welcome to Eau Claire, Good Wives! We'll be back for dinner soon!
