A Family Affair Soulfood Kitchen

As I work my way through eventually tasting the entire menu, so far so good! With lots of delicious items to choose from, A Family Affair Soulfood Kitchen is a great option for a real food experience.

But while the food is good, and I, personally do NOT have an issue, some people may think the menu items are priced a little high. Still, with this being the only restaurant in the area serving soul food, one may also agree that this warrants the price.

If I had to be incredibly critical about anything at ANY restaurant, it would be consistency. When I come back, I want that exact same taste that amazed my taste buds the first time.

Of the four times that I have placed an order, A Family Affair has been deliciously good every time, although not consistent with some of the sides.

Please do not let that stop you from an incredible food experience though. Because I know I'll be back...again and again!

A Family Affair Restaurant closes at 7:30, I made it there by 7:40 and nothing was out on the table, but the cashier at the front desk was nice enough to ask the owner if she would give me what was left of the food. The owner, was gracious enough to bag up three meals for me and my friends. Let me just say, I think this might be the new “finger licking good in town.”

Was driving around town and saw this place. My mom and I stopped in and were not disappointed. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food was GOOD! Definitely planning to return.

They are definitely pulling it together at the restaurant! Cooks are doing a great job! The owner is a sweetheart!
New place so gotta give em' a break and don't be rude if it isn't exactly how you like it. Be patient and don't storm out because you have to wait 5 min longer than McDonald's! It's damn near perfect soul food!!
Not fast food!
