Fantastic food, entire staff was friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. Would recommend highly
The service is cordial
and fast. We both had the Walleye. My husband had the battered walleye and I had the grilled walleye. The skin was left on the fish and to me, that is a big "no-no". The skin should be removed before cooking it so that there is no off taste . I know that some cooks or chefs argue that the fish will fall apart during the cooking process, but I say no. If you know what you are doing you can prepare the fish without it falling apart. I have prepared all kinds of fish for years and have had no trouble doing it that way. It just taste much better without the skin left on. No "off-taste"or "fishy" smell.
This place is always full of Friendly Staff and always good food! Not for the price conscious person in mind! Food is always good!
Medium New York steak cooked to perfection. Potato was a little chewy, could have been on the heater all night. But it was late so I can't complain about that. I'd definitely come back in my next visit to Fond du lac
I'm from Florida and I wish this restaurant was down there. A real gem of a find. While we did have a one hour wait it was worth it. The prices are very reasonable, the service prompt and excellent, and the food quality and quantity are both great! I can see why it's such a long wait even at five PM. Come early and enjoy great food and a great time! I got a rare rib eye and they did rare perfectly! Not something I get at many steak houses. The onion stacks they have are stop delicious too!
Sure this might be the coldest weather I've ever been in, but this place is a warm beacon in the snow banks up here.
