Wendt's On the Lake

Food and service excellent. Bushes by the windows could be trimmed to bottom of windows to add to the ambiance and give a better view of the lake.

Stopped for lunch today. Our waitress, Jenny, was great! We ordered the fish sandwich and burger. Both came hot and juicy. I've never seen such a big piece of fish! It hung over the rye bun a few inches on both ends. Having views of Lake Winnebago is always a plus too.

Perch was very tasty but the size was a little smaller. Did find a couple of bones in one piece which is big turn off. Haddock was big in size and very tasty as well.

Service is fantastic! Went for Friday fish which is never a disappointment. We were seated in less than 5 minutes and were completely finished with our dinner and out the door with in an hour! If dining here on Friday or Saturday my advice is to get there earlier because it gets packed pretty quick and then you may have to wait. But it's well worth it! Also, this restaurant does not accept credit or debit cards but provide an ATM if needed.
