Coconut Cove Resort

I didn't get to stay as long as I wanted but man is was beautiful, peaceful, the people were so friendly and inviting. I love how family oriented! Can't wait to take my kids. We are hoping to go on the adult only weekend coming up soon. We we enjoyed the private pool and the scenery was beautiful for walking. The cabins are just AMAZING !!! So cool (:

Great staff and the food is always on point! Always enjoy hanging out at coconut. Would highly recommend it to my family and friends!

The campground was very clean and well kept. The swimming pool had a zero depth entry and the beach was clean. No shade as others has mentioned. But there is a train line ,which was located directly behind our camper, came through constantly. At least once every couple of hours including throughout the night with the whistle blowing. Needless to say we didnt ever get much sleep. While everything else was nice the train was a buzz kill

Newer campground so no trees for shade, which is less desirable during the hot summer months. Pool, restaurant, bar and bathrooms were all very nice, as everything is new. Surprised there aren't more people talking about the trains! Trains run in both directions all day, and it's near a crossing so they also blast their horns! Woke up every night, multiple times to the train horns. If you're fine with train noises then it's an okay campground. No real direction given when you check in on the location of things like trash and showers, more concerned with upselling golf carts and firewood. Staff were nice, but the trains and lack of things to do besides the water (no jumping pillow, no pedal bike rental, no mini-golf, etc.) means we won't be back.

Stopped here for mother's day buffet. It was outstanding! we did arrive early, so we had no wait time. The food was honestly delicious. I think my favorite would be the seasoned potatoes and fresh fruit - two things I don't often eat. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful with very clean sights and paved roads. As a former camper myself, I can tell you there are very few places in this corner of the state that are as nice as coconut cove resort.
