Country Kitchen Restaurant

Country Kitchens were a staple part of my life as a travelling musician in the '70's. I have not seen one of these in years, so when I saw this one in Dodgeville our timing was perfect for stopping for lunch. The interior layout was identical to what it was in the 70's, but all the equipment and decor was fresh and new. We both ordered breakfast. Surprised that they had cinnamon-raisin toast (wife's favorite) and I could substitute an English muffin for my toast. The service by our waitress Linda was excellent, the food was perfect, and the price was right. Very happy we stopped.

Good food, moderate pricing. We got a burger and fries and it was 12.50, in my opinion that's a little much but it was a big (double) country burger so that might have had something to do with it. I'd compare it to a Bob Evans or maybe a Denny's.

Nice atmosphere. Great food. Enjoyed the locals coming in and greeting each other. Nice to see a place where neighbors and friends get together and chat

We come here every time we're in town. The service is always great and the food is an amazing value. the buffet that they had the last time we were there was really good and have lots of selections. They made sure to keep the food rotated and hot.
